About Marie Cristine Jewelry My earliest memories of creating jewelry bring me back to a time when I was a child and friendship pins became popular. I would put little beads on safety pins and give them to my friends to pin on their shoes. From that point on I was hooked! I then moved onto embroidery thread bracelets which satisfied me for a time until I was older.
Throughout my school years I continued to make simple bead and hemp jewelry. In my early twenties I consigned some of my beaded necklaces in a local art store but mostly I just continued making jewelry for fun. Life took over and owning a small business and having twins diverted my attention for a few years. But once I had a little more time for myself I started playing with beads again only this time I wasn’t happy with just stringing. I became obsessed with the need to learn advanced techniques and teach myself about every aspect of making jewelry. This obsession has made the last few years a wonderful journey and I look forward to where it will lead in the future.
